Social Media - Frustration Dustbin!

A very renowned person, who is highly active in the social media platforms, once told me a fact. That people, who are creating havoc in the social media, are actually the people who are highly dissatisfied in their personal life. Interesting observation!!! I didn't have any reason to disbelieve him at that time. Nor do I have any reason to now. But. it's a fact that social media has become a happy hunting ground for those dissatisfied souls, who are; irrespective of any comparison in qualification, experience, knowledge, are trolling others. Social media is transforming into a frustrating dustbin for them.

In my stint of many years in different social media platforms, I have encountered many such dissatisfied souls. However, most of the times, I do consider them more of interesting in nature than being irritating. See. If they are doing it due to frustration and may be due to some personal issues that they are not being able to handle in real life, it's good that they are relieving those frustration here, without hampering anyone physically. I read it somewhere that most of the criminals, involved in physical crimes are actually do so to vent their anger or frustration. Unfortunately, the victim, who's never the cause of their frustration or anger, has to face it. Most of the accused of unexplained brutal physical assault on women do have troubled pasts. That's why I do consider that it's better if someone vents his/her anger in the virtual world, instead of the real world. Many lives are saved by that.

It is not about trolls only. Many people in social media are seen discussing others. Inferiority complex!! You will never find them discussing self, they will not accept their mistakes and for them every good thing done by others are done for a purpose. They will find a way to criticize you, try to spread their perceptions by creating stories. Quite interestingly, they have audiences. They have people who believe their stories; mostly because they are part of the same frustrated group. Many of the social media users, though claim self to be part of an intellectual masse, don't have the simple logical sense to analyze the reason behind someone speaking about someone else. May be because of everyone's love towards gossiping.
